Your Primary Mythical Creature

Fire Types
The main strength of the Fire types is achievement. The second element indicates the most probable focus for this urge to achieve.
Fire with Air

Astrologically associated with Sagittarius and the Ninth House

Dragon types are charismatic leaders. They exude confidence and optimism and thrive on competition. They are progressive and expansive, socially oriented, and eager to achieve something for the greater good. They are informed by their love of ideas and exciting possibilities, and are often guided by strong moral and religious feeling. They can usually back up their plans with faultless logic. They are constantly active, moving restlessly from project to project, often having several going at once. They need to have control and will delegate tasks to people they can trust to perform well. They work hard and play hard. They are popular, both at work and socially. They have a flair for the dramatic and for display, but nevertheless they can be difficult to get to know intimately. They crave stimulation, are unconventional, and hate red tape.

Your Shadow Creature

Water Types
All the Water types have problems relating to feelings and closeness. The weakest element indicates the main focus of these problems.
Water and Earth

This shadow is by turns self-neglecting and over-indulgent and exhibits lack of discipline and self-control. A proper diet is avoided while harmful practices are pursued to excess. They are very active physically and mentally but produce nothing lasting. They want power and can be ruthless in their attempts to get it. They are secretive, and don’t trust others because they themselves can’t be trusted. They have an urge to dominate others and can be insensitive to their emotional needs. They are plagued by an underlying sense of emptiness that explains an apparent self-destructiveness. The biggest obstacle of weak Earth is to overcome self-centeredness and greed; the biggest obstacle of weak Water is to overcome insensitivity and alienation.

{April 4, 2007}   Our Lipstick Jungle

I can’t believe it is snowing! We just got rid of all the winter and now a flash storm has covered the city once again! Damn it Janet! We have been working on the film over here at hardcore Vamps Prods., and this week were suppose to do some of the outdoor shoots, well crap! Now we will be all crammed into the office like hockey fans at a home game on Molson Night.
I just finished reading “Lipstick Jungle” by Bushnell. It was a good read, but I was disappointed by the ending. I have been a fan of her’s since “Sex and the City”, and loved both “4 Blondes” and “Trading Up”, but this one…left me alittle dry.

{February 26, 2007}   Trailor Park Boys The Movie

Cigarettes let’s go A common line in the series and not used enough in the film. I rented the DVD this week and LOVED IT! I wasn’t sure how they were going to get away with calling it TPB-The Movie considering the whole thing started off as a b/w film before spinning off into the tv series, but….Now that the history lesson is done this film strays from the tv shows usual buddy genre (Ricky, Julian, Bubbles) and deals more with the romantic comedy side of things between Ricky and Lucy. This gives us a few new characters, one being played by Canadian star Hugh Dillon ( best known for being the lead singer of the Headstones and star of Hardcore Logo) as Sonny the strip club owner. The boys are out of jail once again and out to do that one last job that will set them up for life on the easy. And it is not hidden that it is a Canadian film, they worked toonies and loonies into the plot. This is a fun film.

9780060787042.jpg I can’t say enough good things about this book. It is the biography of the finding and publishing of the Necronomicon. I read it in under two days, just could not put it down! If you ever wondered if the Necronomicon was real, this is the book to pick up, if you are just a fan of H.P. Lovecraft, this is the book to pick up, if you just like a good biography, this is the book to pick up. You don’t have to be interested in the occult to enjoy this book, you just need a love of books.

{January 31, 2007}   Video Hounds

So my Video Hounds book came. And dude, it’s alittle much of a let down. I was expecting this grand thing full of facts and movie triva, and with it being so hard to find I was really thinking it was going to be some heavy. But not so much. Just a list with a few odd bits of biographies. Total downer.

{January 10, 2007}   Movie Review-The Covenant

I just rented this film. The Covenant is a very fun take on the topic of witches. Set in the present it follows 5 students who just happen to be a direct bloodline to the Witch Trials in the 1600’s. It mixed just enough hollywood into it’s mythos while still managing to stay true to some of the realities of witchcraft. It has a look much like the first Underworld (same production) but feels more like a cross between Lost Boys and The Craft. It is more a dark drama then horror, though it does have a few moments that make you jump. All in all a great film. 4 and a half out of 5 fangs from me.

What type of person do you attract?

Your Result: You attract artsy people!

Those free spirited artists with great imaginations find you interesting. They are usually interesting themselves, so its not a bad thing, but they CAN be a bit wifty and choose odd goals. If you like life to always be a bit ‘different’ from the norm, but not too extreme in any one direction, these are the people for you. If you seek logical decision making skills and good money management, you may want to change something in the way you appear. Artsy people are fun for adventure and exploring, so, have fun! (smoking weed helps too)

You attract models!
You attract unstable people!
You attract Yuppies!
You attract geeks!
You attract rednecks!
